Stormy Vic - part 1

I dug out this Sturmovik kit recently as I have a game idea which requires such a beast. It went together pretty well - the parts fit was rather good.
The kit came equipped with bomb racks.  This being a ground attack machine it seemed like a good idea to fit them.

Looking good Mr. Gow. Might I ask what the game is?

I have two of these jokers. One a friend flicked on to me built but unpainted several years ago. One of the propeller blades is missing, but I'm thinking of replacing all three with a clear plastic disc anyhow. The other I have had even longer, from when Airfix called them 'Stormovik'. As my aircraft collection - small as is is - was always intended to be supports for ground games, I used the ground attack version Il2-3M.

This was from before my developing a preference for under-scale aircraft for this purpose. Although much smaller than 1:72, for some reason I can explain, the smaller aircraft 'look' right. My collection there is very small, and rather one-sided: 3 tank-busting JU87, 1 Me109, 1 Me262, 1 Fe Storch (metal), 2 Fw190 (plastic); and 1 MiG3.
